Hello there. I'm new to writing a blog, so I'll apologize in advance for my lack of writing skills. Nonetheless, I hope to put some information out here that is interesting and useful for you.
Let's start with who I am. In short, I am a farm boy turned mechanical engineer turned stay-at-home dad turned handyman. I still consider my role as a father as my primary "job", but I work on handyman projects when my kids go to daycare a few days a week. I've been lucky enough to experience a good part of the world during my journey and have lived in 4 countries and worked in at least 11 countries. I've also travelled to numerous other places for leisure. Still, I feel like I've just scratched the surface of what's out there. Despite that, my most fulfilling accomplishments have been within the four walls of my home in Hummelstown, PA with my wife and twin toddlers.
In the near future, I plan to blog about projects around the house. My hope is to inspire DIYers and provide some information for those considering home improvements. Some topics I'm considering are babyproofing, shelf building, and project planning. If you have other ideas, please let me know and I'll try to include them.
